Roman Krivochenitser, MD (Dr. Krivo) is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Fraser Eye Care Center. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology and specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and glaucoma. Dr. Krivo is fellowship-trained in glaucoma and performs the latest micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) and laser procedures. Dr. Krivo is passionate about healthcare policy and advocating for his patients. He has represented the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society in Washington, D.C. in advocating for lower drug prices and healthcare affordability. He is an active participant in the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and serves on several leadership boards for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

After fellowship, Dr. Krivo was in private practice in Colorado Springs where he enjoyed mountain life with frequent skiing and hiking. However, being raised in West Bloomfield, MI, Dr. Krivo decided to come home to be closer with family. He is a fluent Russian speaker and enjoys salsa dancing, cycling, and playing pickleball in his spare time.
