Bru’s Consultation Appointment

Bru was happy to learn that he is a great candidate for LASIK. He had been interested in vision correction surgery for a long time because he was sick of the hassle of glasses and the dry eyes that contacts caused him. Once he knew that LASIK was an option for him, he was excited about the prospect of taking a nap without worrying about his contacts!

Bru’s LASIK Surgery

On the day of his procedure, Bru seemed more excited than nervous but he received a mild sedative just in case. His eyes were numbed with anesthetic drops before Dr. Basha performed all-laser, blade-free custom LASIK. Bru was pleased that the actual surgery took just 10 minutes and he was amazed that he could see more clearly right away! After surgery, he said, “What a breeze!”

Bru’s LASIK Results

After his LASIK surgery, Bru followed all of Dr. Basha’s guidelines, including protecting his eyes and using prescribed eye drops. At his first follow-up appointment the day after surgery, Bru was thrilled to find out that his vision was even better than the 20/20 he was hoping for — he actually has 20/15 vision now! He said goodbye to the hassle of glasses and the pain of contacts and tossed them out. Bru noted that he will be happy to stop spending money on contact supplies.

Bru’s Life With LASIK

One week after his LASIK surgery, Bru is surprised at how great his eyes feel. While he had some initial redness, it has resolved and his eyes feel so much better than when he was dealing with dry contacts. As a fitness enthusiast who also enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, and watching sports, he is loving life with LASIK.
