Dr. Kristi Michels is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist at Fraser Eye Care Center. She specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and Cataract Surgery, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Michels completed her undergraduate and medical education at Northwestern University, where she graduated magna cum laude and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Feinberg School of Medicine. She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Northwestern, serving as Chief Resident in her final year, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Throughout her career, she has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at national ophthalmology conferences.
Originally from Cleveland, Dr. Michels enjoys staying active through dance, water sports, and pickleball.
